The VG-Wort fund for promotion of academic publications grants partial payment for the costs of printing.

Conditions:

• Primary publication of scientific works, that due to their specialization otherwise could not be printed
• Habilitations about special topics
• Scientific monographs about special topics
  

A commission of academics and publishers decides about the promotion.
