Tzu-Ying Li

The author had comprehensive working experience in the local organic food business and organic fields starting from the 1990s. She studied about organic consumption and marketing from 1999 to 2001 for her master degree in a tourism educational institution. During that period of time, she contacted international organic organizations and obtained international experiences. In 2001, to test her master research, she spent 2 months visiting various organic caterings and organic shops in around 10 European countries. From 2003 to 2005, she studied the master program of Global Political Economics in University of Kassel and focused on the relationship between the multifunctionality under the WTO and organic farming. From 2006 to 2009, she completed her doctor degree in the DEMAP in University of Kassel. Her academic research focused on organic farm-based tourism in peripheral regions. This book shows the achievements and presentation in her studies regarding her extensive organic experiences from the local and the global field.
