Diese Doktorarbeit behandelt mehrere zentrale Aspekte der Theorie der Leptogenese. Dieser Mechanismus, der eine elegante Erklärung der Entstehung der Materie-Antimaterie Asymmetrie des Universums darstellt, ist eng mit der Natur der Neutrinomassen verknüpft, da er die kosmologische Folge des "see-saw" Mechanismus ist. Insbesondere werden die Bedeutung von "Flavor" Effekten, die mögliche Relevanz von Quanteneffekten ebenso wie die Rolle von den schwersten rechthändigen Neutrinos diskutiert.

Description

This thesis is devoted to some forefront issues in the field of leptogenesis. As well as nicely explaining the origin of the matter-antimatter asymmetry of the Universe, this mechanism is intimately related to the nature of neutrino masses in that it is the cosmological consequence of the see-saw mechanism. In particular, we discuss the importance of flavor effects, the possible relevance of quantum effects, as well as the role played by the heavier right-handed neutrinos.
